Fatah Movement: The October 7th events were a direct consequence of the occupiers’ crimes.

The statement states that the role of the International Peace Committee is to oversee the reconstruction process and implementation of the peace plan, as well as to ensure everyone’s commitment to the cessation of hostilities.

The statement emphasized that if an international force is to be present, it should be deployed only at the borders and not inside the Gaza Strip. Ensuring security in Gaza is the responsibility of the Palestinian security forces.

The statement continued: The establishment of an administrative committee to manage the Gaza Strip for a specific period is an important step, provided that it is under the supervision of the Palestinian government. The issue of weapons must also be resolved within the framework of a national vision and in line with single sovereignty and single law. The Palestinian priority is a ceasefire, the complete withdrawal of the Israeli regime from the Gaza Strip, the entry of humanitarian aid into the strip, and the prevention of the forced displacement of its residents.
