Fidan: It is very important to recognize the state of Palestine.
According to Anatolia news agency, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan emphasized the importance of the recognition of the Palestinian state by other countries by participating in a joint press conference with his Cambodian counterpart Sok Chanda Sofea in Ankara.
The Turkish Foreign Minister stated about the recognition of the Palestinian state by several European countries: the occupation (in Palestine) continues and the recognition of the Palestinian state is very important considering the conditions of the occupation.
In another part of his speech, Fidan criticized the unconditional support of the Western countries for Israel’s actions and said: The beginning and continuation of the Israeli genocidal (regime) in the region is not possible without the unconditional support of the regional countries.
He also stated that in his meeting with the Cambodian Foreign Minister, he agreed to develop relations and increase the value of trade between the two countries to more than one billion dollars, and added: The Cambodian Foreign Minister met with economic activists yesterday in Istanbul and his meetings It will continue with Turkish political officials and economic activists today and tomorrow in Ankara.
