From Al Jazeera Qatar, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Türkiye emphasized: Israel’s attack on UNIFIL forces is proof of Benjamin Netanyahu’s government’s approach of occupying Lebanese territory.
This ministry assessed the role of UNFIL as important and said: The role of the UN peacekeeper is very important, especially in the shadow of Israel’s intention to expand the war in the region.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Türkiye emphasized: The members of the United Nations Security Council must prevent attacks in which forces affiliated with this organization are targeted.
The United Nations peacekeeping forces in southern Lebanon, known as UNIFIL, stated on Sunday and announced that the members of these forces were once again attacked by the aggressor army of the Zionist regime.
It should be mentioned that Lebanon’s Hezbollah had previously announced that the soldiers of the aggressor army of the Zionist regime are using UNIFIL forces as human shields, and Hezbollah fighters, despite monitoring the movements of Zionist soldiers around the UNIFIL headquarters, to save the lives of these forces from exchanging fire with the Zionists. They have refused in these places.
