Former head of Shabak: Netanyahu is leading us to the end of Zionism.

According to the Palestinian news agency Sama, following the criticism of the Zionist circles and officials on the recent words of the occupying regime’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who spoke about the continuation of the Gaza war and the release of only a few Zionist prisoners, Aami Ayalon, the former head of Shabak, The sharp attack against Netanyahu declared: The first goal of all of us is to take back the hostages (Zionist prisoners in Gaza) and Tel Aviv’s alleged plan for a ceasefire, which was expressed by US President Joe Biden, was also for the same purpose, and our demand is the release of all them are hostages.

In a conversation with CNN, he stated that the continuation of the war is the only way for Netanyahu to remain in power, and the partial return of the hostages is the only way through which Netanyahu can be sure that the war will not end. It seems to me that Netanyahu thinks we don’t understand these things, but most of the time we do. The fact is that Netanyahu is leading us to the end of Zionism.

The former head of Shabak clarified that today the prime minister is not our representative. According to polls, 76% of settlers believe that Netanyahu should resign immediately, and 75% believe that the only way to end this war is to use a political solution that allows us to return all the hostages.

This former Zionist official went on to say: Netanyahu does not want to end the war and this is crazy, where Israelis are killed and Israel has lost its moral position in the world. When Israel started the war, it had no plans for after it, which means that our young people still have to go to the battlefield and die. The fact is that there is no political goal in this war and the current cabinet does not know how to start wars and how to end them.

He noted: Netanyahu himself said that Israel may be preparing for another war and that Israeli forces will be transferred from Gaza to the northern front. Here, our question is, are you ready to enter into a full-scale war like in 2006 with Lebanon’s Hezbollah?

The former head of Shabak stated: As long as we believe that war is the only option, not the last option, the situation will be the same. Our security doctrine should be based on two things: to have a huge military force in the first place, but this alone is not enough; Rather, we must also have a sufficient understanding of diplomacy, and we will not have security until we can act in harmony in these two fields.
