PNN – The former head of the Internal Security Council of the Zionist regime said that Israel was definitely defeated in the Gaza war.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, quoting the Palestine Information Center, Giora Island stated: The results of the war indicate a clear failure and the measurement of military success has nothing to do with political and popular speeches.
He stated that the measurement of military success is based on two main criteria: “achieving goals” and “imposing will”, adding: Israel failed to achieve goals.
This former security official of the Zionist regime added: In imposing the will on the other side, Hamas, as the ruling power in Gaza, was able to impose its conditions on the Israeli side in the recent agreements.
He stated that the Zionist regime agreed to reopen the Rafah crossing and withdraw from the Netsarim axis and return thousands of Palestinians to the north of the Gaza Strip, and said: This is considered a victory for Hamas.

Eiland continued: This is despite the fact that the results obtained for Hamas were not limited to the entry of food and water into the Gaza Strip, but to the entry of necessary equipment for the reconstruction of this area.
He said: In the next phase, we will witness the imposition of new conditions by Hamas on the other side, which includes the collective release of hundreds of Palestinian prisoners in exchange for the return of the remaining Zionist prisoners in the Gaza Strip.
The former head of the Internal Security Council of the Zionist regime added: In such a situation, Tel Aviv will eventually be forced to end the war without achieving its declared goals.
The ceasefire agreement between Hamas and the Zionist regime came into effect and its first phase will last for 6 weeks. During this stage, the implementation of the agreement in the second and then the third stage will be negotiated.
This agreement was reached with the mediation of Qatar, Egypt and the United States and several rounds of negotiations were held in Cairo and Doha.
Since the establishment of a ceasefire in Gaza, the operation of searching for missing persons and removing the bodies of martyrs from under the rubble has begun, and every day more and more martyrs are being pulled out from under the rubble in different areas of this strip.
