Former US government official: Israel has definitely committed war crimes in Gaza

PNN – A former US State Department spokesman said that the Israeli regime has definitely committed war crimes in Gaza.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, Matthew Miller, former spokesman for the US State Department during the presidency of Joe Biden, made unprecedented statements regarding the commission of war crimes by the Israeli regime in the Gaza Strip in an interview with the Sky News podcast, which was republished by the Zionist media “Israel Hume” and “The Times of Israel”, and at the same time claimed that these crimes were committed based on individual approaches, not the overall performance of the Zionist regime’s cabinet.

He emphasized in this interview: Israel has definitely committed war crimes in Gaza. Israeli soldiers in the Gaza Strip have committed acts that are not in line with international law, but they have not been tried.

In response to the question of whether genocide has taken place in the Gaza Strip, given the deaths of thousands of Palestinians since October 2023 and the resulting famine among the people, Miller replied that he did not believe it was genocide, but that he was certain that war crimes had been committed.

At the same time, he tried to distinguish between the policies of the Israeli cabinet and the individual actions of the military, saying that Israeli soldiers have committed war crimes in specific incidents, but this is not part of the policy of the Israeli cabinet.

In response to the question of whether he would express his personal views from this platform, Miller said that when you are in a showcase, you cannot express your personal views and you must express the views of the American government.

He also claimed that the previous US administration did not officially conclude that the Zionist regime had committed war crimes in Gaza. Matthew Miller, of course, criticized some of the behavior in not trying the Israelis, saying: We did not see enough soldiers being tried.
