Former US President Carter has died

PNN – Former US President Jimmy Carter died Sunday night local time at the age of 100.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, the “Carter Center” announced that he died at 15:45 local time on Sunday the 9th at his home in Plains, Georgia.

He was the president of the United States during the victory of the Iranian Islamic Revolution.

During his presidency, he was faced with a bad economy and the occupation of the American espionage den in Tehran.

The White House lowered its flag to half-mast for Carter’s death.

James Earl Carter Jr., born on October 1, 1924, was the 39th president of the United States of America from the Democratic Party from 1977 to 1981.

He served as a Georgia state senator from 1963 to 1967 and as the 76th governor of Georgia from 1971 to 1975.

In 2002, he received the Nobel Peace Prize for his work in establishing the Carter Center.
