France and Germany are examining all the scenarios of peace in Ukraine.
According to Tass, French President Emmanuel Macron in a conversation with German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier claimed that the two countries will consider all peace scenarios for Ukraine and at the upcoming meeting of the Franco-German Defense and Security Council, about They will discuss the continuation of support for Kyiv.
Macron claimed: In the upcoming joint meeting of the Defense and Security Council, we will discuss more assistance to Ukraine for resistance until the last moment, arming, support, training, and preparation for any scenario leading to the establishment of lasting peace. In other words, peace must be established based on respect for international laws.
He claimed: today, being on the side of peace means empowering the law; Peace is not surrender. Peace is not a denial of principles. Peace means the ability of a country to defend its borders and sovereignty; This ability also applies to the international community to create lasting peace. This is the front we have chosen and it leads to long-term prosperity.
Macron is on an official trip to Germany. This is the first official visit of a French president to Germany in the last 24 years and it started from May 26 to May 28. Regardless of the meeting and conversation with Steinmeier, Macron’s other plans include meeting with German Prime Minister Olaf Schultz and attending the Joint Defense-Security Council and then the Council of Ministers of the two countries.
