France: Israel’s destructive campaign in Gaza has no military logic.
The French Foreign Ministry announced in a statement on Tuesday night that “more than 600,000 civilians are believed to be present there” and that the Israeli military offensive has “displaced more than 300,000 people.”
The statement added: “France calls on Israel to end this destructive campaign, which no longer has any military logic, and to resume negotiations as soon as possible with the aim of establishing a ceasefire and releasing all prisoners.”
The French Foreign Ministry announced: “The expansion of military operations is taking place in extremely dire humanitarian and health conditions, at the same time as famine and the lack of access to basic needs and emergency services.”
The ministry added: “France once again calls on Israel to immediately lift all restrictions on the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza and to allow the immediate, widespread and unhindered delivery of this aid.”
The Zionist regime launched a devastating war against the Gaza Strip on October 15, 1402, which has so far left more than 64,000 martyrs and tens of thousands injured. The war has not only caused widespread destruction of the region’s infrastructure, including hospitals, schools, and water and electricity networks, but has also led to the displacement of hundreds of thousands of Palestinians, severe food shortages, and an unprecedented humanitarian crisis.
On September 3, the Israeli army launched an offensive called “Gideon’s Chariots 2” to completely occupy Gaza City, which sparked criticism and protests within the Israeli regime and raised concerns about the lives of prisoners and Israeli soldiers.
The United Nations Independent International Commission of Inquiry on Tuesday confirmed the crime of genocide by the Israeli regime in a report for the first time since the start of the Gaza war, writing that the Israeli army and military forces in the Gaza Strip committed four of the five acts defined as genocide under the 1948 United Nations Convention.
