France: The war in Gaza must stop.
According to Reuters, the permanent representative of France in the United Nations warned about the humanitarian disaster in Gaza.
French Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Nicolas de Riviere, announced on Monday that the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip is catastrophic.
France’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations emphasized: We need an immediate and lasting ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. We have been making this request since November. Such a cease-fire would allow for the widespread delivery of humanitarian aid and protect civilians.
De Riviere added that the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip is catastrophic. As the Secretary-General said today, many Palestinian civilians are suffering from hunger and disease. This is not a natural disaster we are talking about. This is a war and it must stop now.
