PNN – The French President announced that France’s mission for the security of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz is separate from the American plan.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, French President Emmanuel Macron wrote today on the X program regarding the developments in the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz: No effort should be spared to reach a rapid, solid and lasting agreement in the Middle East conflict through diplomacy.
He added: An agreement that provides a solid framework for the region and enables everyone to live in peace and security.
Without referring to Iran’s interests in any agreement, and also without considering the main reason for the conditions created and the imposition of war on Iran by the US and the Zionist regime, Macron claimed: To achieve this goal, all fundamental issues must be addressed with lasting solutions, including Iran’s nuclear and ballistic missile activities and its actions in the region, as well as the resumption of free and unimpeded navigation in the Strait of Hormuz as soon as possible and ensuring Lebanon’s return to the path of peace with full respect for its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The French president continued: France is ready to play its full role in this matter, as it has done consistently since the first day of the conflict.
He stated: As for the Strait of Hormuz, we will organize a conference with the United Kingdom in the coming days and bring together the countries that wish to participate alongside us in a peaceful multinational mission aimed at restoring freedom of navigation in the Strait.
Macron claimed: This purely defensive mission, separate from the adversaries, will be carried out as soon as the conditions are right.
These statements come as the spokesman for the Khatam al-Anbiya Center headquarters warned: The Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran clearly and decisively declare that the security of ports in the Persian Gulf and the Sea of Oman is either for everyone or for no one.
He added: If the security of the ports of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the waters of the Persian Gulf and the Sea of Oman is threatened, no port in the Persian Gulf and the Sea of Oman will be safe.
Yemen’s Foreign Ministry also announced in a statement: Any new escalation of tension by the United States in the region or at sea will have negative consequences on the global supply chain, energy prices, and the international economy.
The statement concludes: Yemen is fully prepared to increase the level of its military operations with active participation in the event of the resumption of US and Israeli aggression against Iran and the axis of resistance.
