PNN – Despite the Israeli regime’s claims of freedom of speech in the occupied territories, the regime’s Defense Minister is seeking to silence the voice of the Israel Army Radio.
According to the report of Pakistan News Netork, citing the Shehab news outlet, Israel Katz, the Defense Minister of the Zionist regime, announced that the Israel Army Radio would be shut down due to its broadcasting of programs critical of the army and military personnel.
He called on the cabinet of the Israeli regime to approve this decision.

Katz added that the station’s programs would continue until March 1, 2026, stating that the Israel Army Radio should serve as a platform for broadcasting in favor of Zionist soldiers rather than criticizing them or airing political opinions.
Meanwhile, the Israeli Media Council declared that this decision was illegal.
The head of the regime’s Democratic Party also said that Netanyahu was seeking to silence media outlets that called for the formation of an investigative committee regarding the “Al-Aqsa Storm” operation.
It is worth noting that contrary to the Israeli regime’s claims of freedom of expression in the occupied territories, both Arab and international media operating in the region face severe censorship in conveying the realities on the ground.
