From Ben-Gurion to Haifa: Yemen’s Shot at the Heart of Israel’s Economy and Security.
In a significant development in the level of popular and regional resistance to confront the occupation regime’s aggression against the Gaza Strip, the Yemenis recently announced the blockade of the strategic port of Haifa in the occupied Palestinian territories, in addition to the naval and air blockade they had imposed against the regime.
Yemen’s new shock to the occupiers with the blockade of Haifa Port
Yemenis’ support for the Gaza Strip continues with force, using pressure tools such as the blockade of ports, waterways, and airports, within the framework of increasing economic pressure on the Zionist regime and isolating and confusing it internationally, alongside military operations deep inside occupied Palestine.
The announcement of the blockade of Haifa port by the Yemeni armed forces came a few days after the Yemeni forces, following the precision attacks on Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv, which the Hebrew media described as an unprecedented disaster, established an air blockade against the occupiers. To this day, they continue the naval and air blockade against the ports and airports of the occupation regime and issued a serious warning to airlines that have any intention of resuming their flights to Ben Gurion Airport.
These developments have caused several airlines, including the Irish company Ryanair, to cancel all their flights to Ben Gurion Airport until the fourth of next month. Hebrew media quoted the company’s CEO as saying that Ryanair is considering transferring its planes from Ben Gurion Airport to alternative European destinations if the ongoing security problems at the airport are not resolved.
