From Prison to the Battlefield: A Story of Resistance and Sacrifice.
The lives and struggles of prominent individuals are always a source of inspiration and reflection for future generations. Among the figures who have shaped the history of resistance with their sacrifice, courage, and perseverance, Yahya al-Sinwar holds a special place. He spent years in the prisons of the occupying forces and defended the people, land, and religious values with a firm will, setting an example of sacrifice and adherence to his principles. The narration of Ms. Asmaa Abdul-Wahab al-Shehari presents a vivid and comprehensive picture of the personality of al-Sinwar; from his efforts and strategies on the battlefield to his personal dreams and predictions in prison. This text not only sheds light on his life and activities, but also shows the power of faith, courage and the impact of a fighter on the path of resistance.
Ms. Asmaa Abdul Wahab Al-Shahari, sending a copy of her article to Islam Times, says:
“Yahya Al-Sinwar” had a long life and a heroic path and a continuous struggle against the enemies. He spent 25 years in the prisons of the occupation, but he saw his destiny ahead of time and worked hard to achieve it and made exceptional sacrifices. Abu Ibrahim Mujahideen was a devoted and brave fighter; a prominent legend, a giant of the greats of jihad, a hero of the heroes of sacrifice and resistance, and a lion of the battlefield.
He was the mastermind of the eternal battle of “Al-Aqsa Storm”, and this honor is enough to rob the Zionists of sleep for years and cast terror in their hearts. He always followed them like a terrifying nightmare. When the occupying forces searched for him using airplanes and advanced intelligence methods and thought that he was hiding underground and surrounded by a group of prisoners, it was he who was chasing the enemy on the ground and bringing hardship and disaster to them. He planned operations that, according to Ms. Al-Shahari, were revenge for the religion of God, the holy places, the people, the land, and the sanctities.
This martyr commander of the resistance movement was a brave, courageous, and stubborn fighter to the point where he attacked the enemy and inflicted wounds on them, and made their eyes bloodshot. The enemies defeated him with a barrage of rifle fire, faith, will, and fighting skills, and were only able to harm him when they used artillery and heavy bombs. They were surprised when they realized that this hero was the same person who had led them to defeat and humiliation for years.
Martyr Al-Sinwar was not an ordinary mujahideen; rather, he was one of the prominent commanders of the resistance and an accomplished and respected figure, A man who had made the enemy taste the bitterness of defeat and had instilled in them the taste of fear and terror.
