Gaza Health Ministry: 41% of Gaza’s kidney patients have been martyred

PNN – The Gaza Ministry of Health announced that 41 percent of kidney patients in Gaza have died as a result of lack of access to medical services.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing the Palestinian Shehab News Agency, the Gaza Health Ministry announced that 41% of kidney patients in Gaza have died during the war as a result of the destruction of dialysis medical centers and the Israeli regime’s prevention of access to them.

The Gaza Health Ministry announced that the Zionist occupying forces targeted and completely destroyed the “Noura Al-Kaabi” dialysis center for kidney patients in the northern Gaza Strip.

The ministry added that the center was one of the few centers providing dialysis services in northern Gaza, and its destruction has exposed kidney patients to a humanitarian disaster with unpredictable consequences.

Palestinian government: Aid to Gaza is a tool for blackmailing civilians

The Ministry of Health, warning of the worsening situation, called on the international community to fulfill its humanitarian duties to prevent the complete collapse of the health system in Gaza.

The Palestinian Wafa News Agency announced that the Noura Al-Kaabi Dialysis Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip, which was the only center providing vital dialysis services to kidney patients in the area, has been completely destroyed by the Israeli army.

The hospital, located near Beit Lahia, served dozens of patients from surrounding areas such as Beit Hanoun, Jabalia, and the village of Umm al-Nasr.

Before being completely destroyed, the center was targeted by several attacks, which resulted in most of the dialysis machines being damaged, leaving only 8 usable machines. The center is now completely destroyed.

The attack follows a broader pattern of Israeli attacks on Gaza’s health system, where hospitals and clinics have been repeatedly bombed, raided, and destroyed, leaving Palestinians with very limited access to medical services.

The Gaza Ministry of Health and aid agencies have repeatedly warned that the collapse of the healthcare system due to the blockade and the prevention of humanitarian aid has created an unprecedented humanitarian disaster.

Munir Al-Barsh, Director General of the Gaza Health Ministry, published images of Noura Al-Kaabi Hospital and emphasized that the center had treated more than 160 patients after its renovation and reopening.
