PNN – The Director-General of Gaza’s Ministry of Health revealed in a statement that the Zionist regime has launched a targeted war against Palestinian children.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network citing Palestine’s Shehab News Agency, Munir al-Bursh stated: From the first hours of the aggression, the Zionist regime initiated a targeted war against Palestinian children, aiming at their lives, health, and normal development; an action assessed as part of an organized plan to obliterate generations and threaten the demographic future of the Palestinian nation.
He added: Based on statistics from the Gaza Ministry of Health, the occupying regime has directly martyred over 20,000 children since the start of the war, with another 44,000 children sustaining severe injuries.
Al-Bursh emphasized: Israel has carried out widespread targeting that in reality goes beyond the framework of military operations and resembles a policy of systematic genocide against Palestinian children.
This health official in Gaza clarified: The occupiers have not limited themselves to killing children through bombardment. From the very first days, they have prevented the entry of nutritional supplements for children and pregnant women, including milk, [nutritional supplements], folic acid, iron, and other essential elements for the healthy growth of fetuses and children.
He stressed: This prohibition is deliberate and targeted, designed to create a generation suffering from growth abnormalities, mental retardation, stunting, and serious health problems whose consequences may become apparent years later.
The Director-General of Gaza’s Ministry of Health continued: Dangerous evidence has been objectively recorded; such that since the beginning of the war, 156 fetuses have been born with congenital abnormalities, most of whom died after birth due to the severity of the anomalies. These include babies born without noses or with incomplete limbs.
Al-Bursh concluded by noting: These indicators undoubtedly show that the Israeli occupation regime, just as it attacks living children, has also targeted wombs.
