Gaza is empty of goods and fuel/180 children martyred in new wave of attacks

PNN – Palestinian and UN sources reported the dangerous situation in Gaza due to the lack of fuel, food, and drinking water for residents of the area.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Shahab News Agency, the Palestinian government’s information office in Gaza announced in a statement: The closure of the crossings in Gaza is putting the lives of 2.4 million Palestinians at risk. 85 percent of Gaza residents have lost their main source of food due to the closure of the crossings. Goods are not in the market, which have dangerous consequences and is leading to imminent famine.

The statement emphasized: Dozens of bakeries have closed due to the lack of fuel and the occupation’s prevention of its entry into Gaza. More than 90 percent of Gaza residents do not have drinking water. The occupation has destroyed 719 wells and destroyed 330,000 meters of the water network. The Palestinian government information office in Gaza stated: 280,000 families are homeless because the occupiers are not allowing tents and prefabricated houses to enter. Electricity is out due to the prevention of fuel entering Gaza.

On the other hand, the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights stressed the need to end the policies of forced displacement of Palestinians and described the situation in Gaza as collapsing.

The commissioner pointed to the halt in the entry of goods into Gaza three weeks ago and said that the continuation of the war would cause further suffering and additional displacement.

The Palestinian Relief and Employment Agency also emphasized that 180 children have been martyred in the new wave of Israeli attacks on Gaza, and that the bodies are under the rubble, and that doctors in Gaza have reported that many have died before their eyes and that they have been unable to treat them.

This comes as the Gaza Health Ministry announced the martyrdom of 830 Palestinians since the renewed attack on Gaza on March 18, and the injury of another 1,787 people.
