PNN – Munir Albarsh, the director of the Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip, expressed his concern about the condition of Kamal Adwan hospital director and warned that the Zionist regime might attempt to assassinate this doctor.

Elbarsh said that the Israeli forces, in an act of provocation, have accompanied the arrest of Kamal Adwan hospital staff with pictures of Christmas celebrations.
He expressed concern about the condition of Hossam Abu Sofia, director of Kamal Adwan Hospital, and added: Israel responded to our request to know the whereabouts of this doctor, saying that no one with this name is in their custody.
According to the director of the Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip, about 75,000 residents of the northern Gaza Strip have been denied access to medical services due to the attacks of the Zionist regime, a situation that has worsened the humanitarian crisis in this area.
He emphasized: What drives Israel (the regime) in these actions is nothing but the desire to kill.
The son of Hossam Abu Sofia, the director of Kamal Adwan Hospital in the north of the Gaza Strip, who has been arrested by the Israeli occupation, previously stated that he was unaware of his father’s fate.
The son of hospital director Kamal Adwan said in an interview with Al Jazeera news channel: “We still do not know the place of detention and the fate of my father.”
The Popular Front emphasized by publishing a statement: Attacking hospitals and setting them on fire, killing patients and kidnapping doctors and medical staff are part of the Zionist regime’s plan for the ongoing genocide of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
At the same time, the Zionist army, which caused the closure of the Kamal Adwan hospital in the north of the Gaza Strip by setting it on fire, announced that it will not allow this hospital to operate again.
The Hebrew newspaper Ha’aretz wrote about this that the army of the occupying regime arrested 950 Palestinians around Kamal Adwan Hospital.
This Zionist newspaper further quoted the army of the occupying regime and claimed that 240 of the mentioned detainees were armed and some of them were involved in the events of October 7.
Munir al-Barsh, director of the Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip, announced on Friday evening that Kamal Adwan Hospital was set on fire after its forced evacuation by the Zionist regime.
According to al-Barsh, the Zionist soldiers committed a terrible crime around the hospital and killed 50 Palestinians, including five medical staff.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip emphasized that the Zionist occupying forces completely surrounded the hospital and set fire to the surgery, laboratory, maintenance and emergency departments, and the hospital’s warehouses.
