From Palestine Ilyum, Iyad Al-Bazm, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and National Security of Gaza, said: 436 citizens died in brutal Israeli attacks from yesterday evening to 12:00 today, of which 182 are children.
Al-Bazm said: “In the last 24 hours, the occupiers have insanely intensified their attacks, the fighters of the Zionist regime carried out hundreds of attacks in all areas of the Gaza Strip.” The invaders have focused on targeting civilian homes and these attacks have resulted in hundreds of martyrs and wounded, most of whom are women and children.
He added: The aim of the occupiers in the aggressive and fascist war against our people in Gaza is to kill as many civilians as possible and destroy residential and civilian facilities.
Al-Bazm also reported that the occupiers use bombs with very high destructive power, which are designed to destroy fortifications in mountainous areas and are not compatible with the nature of residential houses in Gaza. The use of these bombs led to the destruction of several houses in one attack. More than 80% of the bombs used by the invaders in their aggression are made in America.
He continued: “The intensity of fire attacks by the fighters of the occupying regime and its war machine in the Gaza Strip is unprecedented.” Forensic and explosives engineering teams conducted 338 missions to defuse other unexploded bombs. There are still hundreds of bombs endangering the lives of civilians, many of which are unexploded and expert teams are unable to reach them due to poor capability and difficult field conditions due to the frequent targets of attacks.
