Gaza’s power outage disables hospital equipment.
According to Sama, the Gaza Ministry of Health announced that cutting off the electricity in this strip by the Zionist regime will make it impossible to set up disinfection devices and oxygen supply and water supply stations for hospitals.
The ministry also emphasized that the power outage will lead to the suspension of dialysis services and the loss of 1,100 kidney patients, including 38 children who need dialysis 3 times a week. 100 premature babies in children’s wards are also at risk due to power outages in health facilities.
This Palestinian organization emphasized: that the power cut would stop the service of 58 laboratories and blood banks. Meanwhile, thousands of wounded and sick people are in dire need of medical tests and blood transfusions. The power outage will stop the diagnostic services of the medical staff regarding the nature of the injuries inflicted on the wounded.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health further stated that the electricity crisis will cause the elevators to stop working and as a result, it will be difficult to move clinical patients and the wounded in hospitals.
It should be noted that the airstrikes of the Zionist regime against the Gaza Strip are continuing while the Zionist occupiers have committed genocidal crimes as usual and are continuing their crimes in Gaza by using bombs containing phosphorus in the middle of the silence of international assemblies. As a result of these attacks, 1055 Palestinians have been martyred and 5184 others have been injured.
