General Burhan and Al-Sisi emphasize the need to stop crimes against the people of Sudan

PNN – The head of Sudan’s Transitional Sovereignty Council held talks with the President of Egypt to discuss the latest developments in Sudan.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing the official website of the Egyptian Presidency, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi and Sudanese Transitional Sovereignty Council Chairman Abdel Fattah al-Burhan emphasized the importance of intensifying efforts to support the Sudanese people, the need to stop crimes committed against them, and the necessity of holding the perpetrators accountable.

During the meeting, el-Sisi and al-Burhan reviewed the latest field developments in Sudan.

The Egyptian president reiterated Egypt’s firm position in supporting Sudan’s unity, sovereignty, security, and stability, and expressed Egypt’s readiness to employ all possible efforts in this regard.

Both sides agreed on the importance of intensifying efforts to provide support to the Sudanese people amid the difficult humanitarian conditions caused by the ongoing conflicts.

They also emphasized the necessity of halting crimes committed against the Sudanese population and prosecuting those responsible.

Al-Burhan expressed appreciation for Egypt’s continued support for Sudan and its efforts to end the current crisis, describing these actions as a reflection of the deep fraternal ties between the two countries.

Al-Burhan had previously arrived in Cairo for an official one-day visit during which bilateral relations and the latest developments in Sudan were reviewed.
