German Foreign Minister planning to visit Lebanon says the situation is alarming.
According to Al-Arabiya, German Foreign Minister Analena Berbuk stated that the situation at the borders of Lebanon is “extremely worrying” and announced that she will visit Lebanon soon.
A few hours ago, “Joseph Burrell”, the head of the European Union’s foreign policy, warned that the risk of the Gaza war spreading to Lebanon is increasing day by day, and the European Union must act to prevent the war from spreading.
Referring to the dire situation of the people of Gaza, he said: The humanitarian situation in Gaza has worsened in recent days and UNRWA cannot play its role.
Burrell stated that “an immediate ceasefire in Gaza is an urgent need to deliver aid” and added: “We continue to support Biden’s (US President) plan and we want an immediate ceasefire to send humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza.”
The European Union’s foreign policy official warned yesterday and Sunday about the consequences of a full-scale war between Lebanon’s Hezbollah and the Zionist regime. According to Burrell, “the danger of conflict (the Zionist regime) with Hezbollah is real, and a war between the two sides will seriously affect the region and beyond.”
Burrell, without condemning the crimes of the Zionist regime in Gaza, said that according to reports, yesterday (Saturday) was one of the bloodiest days since October (the beginning of the Gaza war) in which at least 100 Palestinians were killed.
According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip, 37,598 people have been martyred as a result of the Israeli army’s attacks on the Gaza Strip since October 7 last year.
