German police arrested several supporters of Palestine

PNN – German police arrested several pro-Palestinian protesters in Berlin and forced them to stop playing music and chanting Arabic slogans against Israel.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network from Anatolia, hundreds of people gathered in the square near the Wittenberg Platz metro station on Saturday in support of Palestine and chanted “Stop the aggression in the West Bank” and “Don’t give weapons to Israel”.

Demonstrators carried Palestinian flags and signs that read: Give up the West Bank, stop arming Israel and Gaza is not sold, “Freedom for Palestine” and “Palestinian children deserve to grow up.”

In this gathering, some protesters gave a speech in Arabic and chanted anti-Israeli and anti-American slogans to the sound of Arabic music.

Citing the ban on Arabic music, the police intervened in the demonstration and demanded that it be stopped.

The police then claimed that chanting or speaking in Arabic was prohibited and that the demonstration must now end due to the violation. The authorities ordered the protesters to leave the square.

More than 50 protesters refused to disperse and started a sit-in, which resulted in a strong response from the police. A large number of protesters were arrested by the police.

Before this ceremony, the police had announced the conditions and allowed only German and English slogans and at the same time prohibited the march. Nearly 250 police officers were present at the demonstration site.

The United States and Qatar announced on January 15, 2025 that Israel and Hamas reached a ceasefire agreement.

This agreement came into effect on January 19, 2025, and its first phase will last for 6 weeks.

During this stage, the implementation of the agreement will be negotiated in the second and then the third stage.

Israel, with the support of the United States, launched a devastating war against the residents of the Gaza Strip from October 7, 2023 to January 19, 2025, as a result of which, in addition to massive destruction and deadly famine, more than 157,000 Palestinians, most of whom are women and children, were martyred and injured, and more than 14,000 people went missing.
