PNN – The Ministry of Interior of Germany announced that it is planning and preparing a list of shelters for the citizens of this country in case of conflict with Russia.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network from the Guardian, this list includes underground train stations, parking lots, government buildings and private properties to shelter German citizens in case of conflict with Russia.
This list will be prepared digitally so that, if necessary, German people can access the location of these shelters using their mobile phone applications.
The spokesperson of the German Ministry of Interior also added in this connection that this will encourage German citizens to build shelters in their homes.
He noted that this project is very extensive and involves various organizations, so the exact time of its completion is not known.
Germany, with a population of 84 million, has about 579 shelters built since World War II and during the Cold War. These shelters have a total capacity of about 480,000.

America’s new claim aimed at intensifying global pressure against Russia
The Guardian wrote in this connection that since Russia’s massive invasion of Ukraine in 2022, concerns have grown about Moscow’s ability to target other members of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).
German officials warned in October that Russia might be able to attack the alliance by 2030.
These officials also announced that Berlin is currently facing a sharp increase in Russian espionage and sabotage activities.
Russian President Vladimir Putin also emphasized last week that the conflict in Ukraine has the characteristics of a “global” war and did not comment on Russia not attacking Western countries.
On February 21, 2022, the President of Russia recognized the independence of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics in the Donbas region, criticizing the West’s indifference to Moscow’s security concerns.
Three days later, on Thursday, February 24, Vladimir Putin launched a military operation that he called “special operations” against Ukraine, and thus the tense relations between Moscow and Kiev turned into a military confrontation.
In response to this Russian action, America and Western countries have imposed extensive sanctions against Moscow and sent billions of dollars of weapons and military equipment to Kiev.
