Getting to know the suppliers of Zionist weapons in the Gaza war.

Getting to know the suppliers of Zionist weapons in the Gaza war.

According to the Al Jazeera news site, since the beginning of the Gaza war, the discussion of arms aid from different countries of the world to the Zionist regime in order to use them to kill the Palestinian people has been one of the main discussions related to the war process. Among these countries, some have actually stopped exporting weapons to the Zionist regime after the war and isolated this regime, but others, such as the United States, although they seek to deceive the public opinion of the world, are still considered the main supplier. The makers of the weapons used in the Gaza genocide are prominent.

In the meantime, the United States of America is the main supplier of weapons to Israel, followed by Germany and Italy. Canada and the Netherlands, which were considered to be major suppliers of weapons to the Zionist regime, have postponed the export of weapons to Israel under the pressure of world public opinion.

The details of the weapons suppliers for the Zionist regime are as follows:

America

US officials say Washington recently delayed the shipment of an arms shipment containing 1,800 bombs, each weighing 907 kilograms, as well as another 1,700 bombs weighing about 500 kilograms each. An American official in this regard claimed that the United States made this decision because of concerns about the use of these bombs by the Israeli army in crowded areas such as the city of Rafah.

In 2016, the United States and Israel signed a 10-year memorandum of understanding covering the period from 2018 to 2028. According to data published by the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute in March, Israel received 69 percent of US military aid from 2019 to 2023.

According to this, Israel is the first party that was able to acquire the American F-35 fighter, which is considered the most technically advanced fighter in history, and is currently receiving 75 of this fighter, and received 36 last year. And America itself paid for it.

The United States has also helped Israel a lot in the development and arming of defense systems such as the Iron Dome and has given the Israelis hundreds of millions of dollars to provide missiles for this system.

Germany

Germany’s arms exports to Israel in 2023 have increased almost 10 times compared to the previous year and reached more than 326 million euros equivalent to 351 million dollars, and after October 7, that is, since the beginning of the Gaza war, Germany prioritized arms exports to Israel. However, since the beginning of this year, with the increase in international criticism of the brutal war of the Zionist regime in the Gaza Strip, the German government had to export to this regime a much smaller number of weapons than it was supposed to give to Israel under pressure.

However, the German news agency reported that this country supplies the major parts of Israel’s air defense systems and communication equipment. The weapons that Germany has exported to the Zionist regime during the recent period include 3,000 portable anti-tank weapons and 500,000 bullets for automatic or semi-automatic firearms.

Data from the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute show that Germany provided about 30% of its military aid to Israel in the period from 2019 to 2023.

Italy

An Italian foreign ministry source reported on May 9 that the country, which is one of the top 3 arms suppliers to Israel after the United States and Germany, has stopped granting new export licenses to Israel since the start of the Gaza war and the latest arms orders Israel will be handed over to this regime in November.

According to a report by the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute, Italy has provided Israel with about 1 percent of its military aid, which includes helicopters and naval artillery, from 2019 to 2023.

England

Despite the great support that England provides to the Zionist regime at different levels, this country is not considered one of the largest suppliers of weapons to Israel, and unlike the United States, the British government does not directly provide weapons to Israel, but British companies provide parts that are used in weapons sent by the United States. It is used for the Zionist regime, they produce it.

Last year, Britain issued export licenses for the sale of military equipment to Israel worth at least 42 million pounds, equivalent to 52.5 million dollars, which were for equipment such as drones, small arms ammunition, aircraft parts, helicopters, and rifles.

Canada

The Canadian government announced on March 20 that it has suspended arms export licenses to Israel since January 8, and that the suspension of arms exports to Israel will continue until it is guaranteed that these weapons will be used in accordance with humanitarian law. Since October 7, since the beginning of the Gaza war, Canada has authorized the issuance of new licenses to send weapons to Israel worth at least 21 million dollars, which is more than in previous years.

Netherlands

The Dutch government stopped sending F-35 fighter jet spare parts to Israel in February after a Dutch appeals court ruled that there was a risk that the spare parts could be used in attacks that would violate humanitarian law.
