PNN – The Zionist general emphasized that Tel Aviv’s new plan against the Gaza Strip is reminiscent of the regime’s illusions regarding Lebanon during 1982.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Shahab, Amos Gilad, a general in the Israeli reserve forces, admitted that the regime’s plan to militarily administer the Gaza Strip is directly reminiscent of Tel Aviv’s illusions about creating a system dependent on the Zionist regime in Lebanon during 1982.

He added: It is time for us to decide; political actions instead of drowning in the Gaza quagmire as we drowned in the Lebanese quagmire before.

Previously, Egyptian sources emphasized in an interview with Al-Arabi Al-Jadeed newspaper that the new plan of the Zionist regime presented in indirect negotiations with the Hamas movement, which aims to redeploy Zionist troops in the Gaza Strip during a 60-day ceasefire, is considered a dangerous move that will destroy international efforts to stop this war.

These sources added that Tel Aviv’s plan would expose Egypt to an unprecedented political and security crisis.

They stated that this would pit the Egyptians against the Palestinians in Rafah, located in the southern Gaza Strip. This incident could destroy the peace agreement between Cairo and Tel Aviv, which, according to the agreement, should not pose any threat to Egypt’s national security or change the demographic structure at the borders.

It should be noted that the Israeli regime is seeking to occupy about half of the Gaza Strip and transfer Palestinian refugees to the city of Rafah with the aim of expelling them from the Gaza Strip.
