Global concerns grow over Iran’s response to US attack

PNN – The Associated Press wrote in a report: After the United States attacked Iran’s nuclear facilities, and despite the assessment of US intelligence agencies that Tehran was not trying to build a nuclear bomb, global alarm bells have sounded regarding Iran’s response to this aggression.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, the alarm bells have been raised after Donald Trump ordered an attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities, dragging the United States into the middle of the conflict. Following the US strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities early Sunday, experts warned that global efforts to peacefully resolve the dispute were inconclusive, with observers saying fears of a wider regional conflict were growing.

This American news agency reported: After Sunday’s US attacks, Iran issued a lot of criticism to Washington, calling it “crossing a very big red line.” Amir Saeed Iravani, Iran’s representative to the United Nations, said at an emergency meeting of the Security Council of the organization: The United States has decided to destroy diplomacy. The Iranian military will decide on the timing, nature, and scale of an appropriate response.

Trump’s operation was to discredit Netanyahu, Iran is the ultimate winner

The Associated Press has noted that tens of thousands of American troops are currently stationed in the Middle East, which, according to some Tehran officials, including Ali Akbar Velayati, an advisor to the Iranian leader, would be a legitimate target for the Iranian armed forces.

The analyst of this news agency further added: With Sunday’s attack, the United States entered a war that it had been trying to avoid for decades, and now it is likely to enter a long and unpredictable conflict.

The author goes on to point out the options facing Iran, including targeting American forces in the region, closing the Strait of Hormuz, and continuing its nuclear program: Israel’s attacks on Iran, which began on June 13 and its emphasis on joining the United States in destroying Iran’s underground nuclear facilities, come at a time when US intelligence agencies have declared that Tehran is not actively seeking to build a nuclear bomb.

From the author’s perspective, the current situation in Iran is the culmination of a decades-long campaign by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to pressure the United States into attacking Israel’s enemy. He praised Donald Trump after the US attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities, claiming that “his decision will change history.”

The news agency concluded by noting that Netanyahu’s attempt to drag the United States into this conflict comes at a time when Israel possesses nuclear weapons and has never admitted to possessing them.
