According to “The Associated Press” news agency, numerous supporters of “The Jamaat-e-Islami” party shouted anti-American slogans in this demonstration and accused this country of “supporting the aggressor Zionist regime”.
Previously, this demonstration was supposed to take place in front of the American Embassy in Islamabad, but later the course of this demonstration was changed. The American Embassy in Islamabad had advised American citizens living in Islamabad and its surroundings to limit non-essential travel on Sunday.
Supporters of Jamaat-e-Islami, including women and children, were holding banners and posters with slogans written against the Israeli and American regimes and in support of the Palestinians.
Jamiat Ulema Islam, another religious party of Pakistan held a huge march in the city of Quetta in the southwest of this country and its leader announced his solidarity and support for Gaza.
