PNN – The leader of the terrorists ruling Syria stated that the Israeli regime seeks to divide the country and said: We are discussing a security agreement.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Al Jazeera, Abu Muhammad al-Julani, the leader of the terrorists ruling Syria, stated that Tel Aviv had a plan to divide Syria and said that negotiations for a security agreement with Israel are underway.

Golani said that Syria seeks complete peace in its relations with all countries in the world.

It is worth noting that the Golani regime has not yet taken any action against the repeated aggressions of the Zionist regime, and since the fall of the Bashar al-Assad regime, the regime has repeatedly targeted the country with its attacks or violated its territorial integrity.

Attacks by “Jolani” elements on the Syrian capital and religious sites

Since the fall of Bashar al-Assad’s government, the Abu Muhammad al-Julani regime has shown various signals regarding fundamental changes in the Syrian political discourse and has announced its readiness for an open policy and normalization of relations with the Zionist regime.

During the first half of 2025, regional and European mediators stepped in to create a communication channel between Damascus and Tel Aviv. Existing reports indicated that the new Syrian regime was not only ready to sign a compromise agreement with the Zionist side, but also prepared to recognize the Zionist regime’s territorial integrity over the occupied Golan Heights on the condition of economic guarantees in the form of a reduction or lifting of Western sanctions.

Al-Jolani added: Advanced negotiations with Israel are continuing to revive the 1974 agreement.

The 1974 Agreement was an agreement signed on May 31, 1974, between the Zionist regime and Syria, according to which the war between the two sides was to end, and then the Israeli regime would withdraw from all the besieged areas above Mount Hermon that it had occupied during the war, along with an area of about 25 kilometers around the city of Quneitra and other small occupied areas. After the fall of Bashar al-Assad’s regime, the Israeli regime declared this agreement null and void and attacked Syria again, occupying parts of the country.

Golani’s claim: There is no permanent severance of relations with Iran

The leader of the terrorists ruling Syria claimed: We are not saying that there is a permanent severance of relations with Iran.

We did not attack Khmeimim to prevent war with Moscow.

The leader of the terrorists ruling Syria said: At the beginning of the military operation, we had several options and could have targeted the Hmeimim base and all the aircraft in it, but we refrained from doing so in order to avoid a full-scale war with Moscow.

He added: After Aleppo, we coordinated with Moscow and started our relations. Russia’s interests are preserved, but within a new framework.
