PNN – As U.S. President Donald Trump warned the Zionist regime against intervening in Syria, Ahmad al-Shar’a, known as al-Joulani and head of the Syrian Interim Government, met with Tom Barrack, the U.S. special envoy for Damascus.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing the Ynet website, al-Shar’a’s meeting with the American envoy in Damascus took place on Monday, during which they discussed developments and mutual interests. This comes as Donald Trump issued a warning to Israel regarding destabilizing Syria.

The Syrian Presidency announced that al-Shar’a and Tom Barrack, in the presence of As’ad al-Shaybani, the foreign minister of the Interim Government, discussed recent regional developments and issues of mutual interest.

Trump previously stated on the Truth Social platform: It is very important for Israel to maintain strong and genuine dialogue with Syria and to ensure that nothing happens that would interfere with Syria becoming a prosperous country.

Trump added that he is “very satisfied” with Syria’s performance under its new president, Ahmad al-Shar’a, who made a historic visit to the White House in November.

Since taking office—after the fall of Bashar al-Assad’s government—Trump has taken steps to secure a security pact between the Zionist regime and Syria.

However, tensions have risen over Israeli attacks on Syria, and the regime’s army continues to advance in the southern part of the country.

Trump believes that al-Shar’a is working diligently to ensure positive developments take place and that Syria and Israel will enjoy a long and successful relationship.

He says the United States will do everything in its power to ensure that the Syrian government continues its planned efforts for reconstruction.
