PNN – The grandson of the former leader of South Africa, Nelson Mandela, said that the determination of the Palestinians and their strong will to achieve freedom inspired Pretoria to raise the issue of Palestine in international forums.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, quoted by Al-Khobar newspaper, Nkosi Zuluilele Mandela, a member of the South African Parliament and the grandson of former South African leader Nelson Mandela, who has traveled to Istanbul since October 7 to discuss the issue of Palestine and the developments of the Zionist regime’s aggression in the Gaza Strip, added: The issue of Palestine is in the hearts of the citizens of the Republic of South Africa.
He added: Nelson Mandela, my grandfather, who is the founder of democracy in South Africa, said in his trips to Gaza in 1995 and 1997 that the freedom of the South African people will not be complete without the freedom of the Palestinian people.

Nkosi Mandela continued: Nelson Mandela made this commitment to the Palestinians and that is why we in South Africa continue to defend the issues that he represented and defended.
He added: Nelson Mandela considered the solidarity and support of the Palestinian people’s struggle against the occupiers to be the greatest moral issue of our time.
Mandela mentioned the importance of the “Freedom Fleet” international project, which is supposed to transfer humanitarian aid from Turkey to Gaza, and added: “Freedom Fleet” is a movement in line with the implementation of the decision of the International Court of Justice, according to which humanitarian aid must enter Gaza completely freely.
