Granting “visa exemption” South Africa’s practical action in solidarity with the Palestinian people

Pak Sahafat – In the shadow of the Zionist regime’s pressure to prevent the recognition of an independent Palestinian state in international forums, the South African government announced that with the aim of supporting the formation of an independent Palestinian state, all Palestinian citizens can travel to this country without obtaining a visa for 90 days.

According to the International group of Pak Sahafat news agency, the South African government announced that with the aim of supporting the cause of Palestinian resistance against the occupation of the Zionist regime, as well as recognizing the independent Palestinian state in international forums, all Palestinian citizens who have a Palestinian passport will be able to enter the country without the need to obtain a visa from the South African embassies.

With the approval of the South African authorities, all Palestinian citizens will now be able to enter South Africa for 90 days without obtaining a visa from the Cape Town embassies in other countries.

In its official statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of South Africa considered this action as a new message of solidarity from the South African government and nation towards the Palestinian nation, which has always been on the path of fighting colonialism and apartheid.

According to the officials of the South African Foreign Ministry, this order has been notified to all airports, ports and border crossings of this country since Monday, September 18 and is in force.

Cape Town’s agreement to exempt Palestinian citizens from obtaining visas in this country is in a situation where Tel Aviv continues to pressurize in international forums to prevent and postpone the recognition and establishment of an independent Palestinian state.

South African officials, whose country hosted an apartheid regime against blacks in this country for decades, during the Durban 1 Summit held in 2001 with the participation of more than 3 thousand pro-Palestinian non-governmental organizations, called the Zionist regime a system based on racism and apartheid.
