PNN – The Guardian newspaper wrote in a report that the resolution of the United Nations Security Council on an immediate ceasefire in Gaza has brought Israel closer to complete isolation in the world.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, this English publication pointed out that the Security Council resolution was approved following the abstention of the United States, as the main supporter of the Zionist regime, and added: This is the most intense public conflict between US President Joe Biden and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu since the start of the Gaza war.
According to the Guardian, following this resolution, Netanyahu claimed that the United States “abandoned its policy in the United Nations” by abstaining and gave hope to Hamas about a ceasefire agreement without releasing Israeli prisoners. In this way, Netanyahu’s office canceled the trip of two ministers to Washington, who were supposed to discuss the planned attack on Rafah.
This English publication further referred to the words of John Kirby, the spokesman of the White House, who, following the Security Council resolution, did not consider the UN vote to be indicative of a change in US policy. The Guardian added: But this resolution speaks of a significant break between the Biden administration and Israel, and a prolonged display of international solidarity in Gaza after more than 32,000 people have been killed.

This isolation becomes more apparent when the former US President Donald Trump and, in the words of the Guardian, “Netanyahu’s close political ally” emphasized in an interview that the war in Gaza must stop. In this interview, Trump stated: Israel must be very careful, because they will lose a lot of support.
According to the report of this British publication, (Tuesday) a UN human rights expert is going to present a report in which he calls for an arms embargo on Israel because of the genocide in Gaza.
The Guardian wrote: Francesca Albanese, the UN Special Rapporteur on Human Rights in the Palestinian Territories, will emphasize in his report, which the Guardian has seen: There are “reasonable grounds” to believe that Israel has committed three of the five acts defined as genocide.
This English publication added that the US abstaining from the Security Council resolution shows the growing frustration of the US with Netanyahu’s stubbornness to attack Rafah and prevent humanitarian aid from entering Gaza.
During the last 6 months, the Zionist regime has launched a massive massacre in Gaza. This regime has closed all crossings in the Gaza Strip and is bombarding this area. According to reports, more than 32,000 Palestinians have been martyred and more than 74,000 others have been injured.
