“Guardian’s” prediction of the fragile relationship between “Trump” and “Musk”

PNN – Regarding the union between Donald Trump and Elon Musk, the “Guardian” newspaper believes that these two narcissists will eventually meet and eventually break up.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, referring to Elon Musk’s $288 million contribution to Donald Trump’s election campaign, the British newspaper stated that the reward for his action was to put his picture behind a desk in the White House on the cover of this weeks’ Time magazine. Some believe that the image of “President Musk” was deliberately designed to provoke Trump, since the president has a special interest in Time magazine and has been named its “Person of the Year” twice.

Referring to the close relationship between Trump and Musk, the Guardian said: This is the culmination of an unlikely relationship that brought about a disturbing revolution in America. Trump and Musk share a passion for disrupting, breaking the law, and inciting liberals. According to critics, the convergence between the world’s most powerful and richest man is a double threat to democracy.

The report called the relationship between these two people a romance and added that history is full of people loyal to Trump who paid the price when they threatened to draw attention to him. From the beginning, pundits have been predicting the collapse of the Trump-Musk alliance, believing that these two great narcissists will eventually collide. But others see this relationship as symbiotic, which may be long-term.

At first glance, Trump and Musk do not have much in common. Trump is a 78-year-old real estate mogul and TV star from New York who came late to politics, spends hours on the golf course, and has a cultural outlook rooted in the 1980s. Musk, 53, was born in apartheid-era South Africa, made his fortune in Silicon Valley, and is the CEO of Tesla (an electric car company) and SpaceX (a space company). He has publicly announced that he has Asperger’s syndrome, which is part of the autism spectrum.

Musk reportedly said in 2016 that Trump is not a person who reflects well on the United States. In 2022, Trump also called Musk a “fraudster” because he supported his opponents in the 2016 and 2020 elections. Last year, however, the tone of both people changed.

The Guardian called Musk the biggest difference between the first and second terms of Trump’s presidency so far, stating that Musk’s management style is “move fast and destroy” by breaking up the federal government without regard to the Constitution. He is not a full-time government employee, but has the status of a “special government employee” which, according to some American officials, is an unelected shadow government. But Trump seems not to worry about Musk.

Another part of the report states: However, no honeymoon period is eternal. Musk’s approval rating, even among Republicans, is rapidly declining. According to a recent poll by The Economist and YouGov, only 43 percent of Republicans said they want Musk to have “little influence” and 17 percent want him to have “no influence.”

The report states that maybe this situation is useful for Trump and diverts attention from the president. But it may end up turning Musk into a political liability for him, leaving voters to wonder who the master is and who the puppet is.

Conservative author Charlie Six says: I don’t know how he will deal with a problem called Ilan. He can fire or destroy anyone. He can take out Marco Rubio. He could destroy JD Vance’s political future with a post on Social Truth. But now he is caught by Elon Musk.

He added: Elon Musk now has his own power base. There will come a day when these two egoists collide – only one master can exist at a time – but how will this be resolved? How will Trump separate himself from the Frankenstein creature that accompanied him?
