Guardian’s report on Iran’s vast spy network in occupied territories.

The Guardian newspaper reported that the Israeli security service had discovered a vast network of its citizens spying for Tehran before it attacked Iran, which was surprising.

The report states that since Iran’s first missile attack on the occupied territories in April 2024, more than 30 Israelis have been accused of collaborating with Iranian intelligence.

The report states that in many cases, the contacts began with anonymous messages offering money in exchange for information or small tasks, with the payments then increasing in line with more dangerous requests.

However, many Israelis were willing to carry out small missions, which may have been successful as a way to gather data on strategically important sites that would later become targets for Iranian ballistic missiles.
