“Guns and Dollars: Russia’s Artillery Shells a Quarter of NATO’s Price Tag”

Referring to the recent studies published by Bain & Company consulting company, Sky News wrote that compared to the American and European supporters of Ukraine, Russia is able to produce artillery shells much faster and cheaper.

According to the company’s research, Russian factories are expected to produce or remanufacture about 4.5 million artillery shells this year. This figure for the total Western production is about 1.3 million Arada; According to Sky News, this statistic means that Moscow’s artillery bullet production is more than three times higher than that of all NATO member countries!

The figures published by this company show that the average production cost of a 152 mm cannon for Russia is $1,000. This figure is a quarter of the amount spent on 155mm bullets used by NATO.

Sky News wrote: The fact that America and the European Union are lagging behind Russia in the production of bullets exposes the Ukrainian army to a great challenge in the middle of the war with Moscow. Ukrainian frontline forces say that they are only able to fire one bullet for every five bullets fired by Russia!

The Pentagon announced last fall that it plans to increase the production of 155 mm bullets from 28 to 100,000 rounds per month by the end of 2025. The European Union announced in March that it plans to increase its ammunition production capacity to two million bullets annually in the same period.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said in a meeting with the heads of the country’s defense industry companies that since the beginning of Moscow’s military operations in Ukraine in February 2022, the production of ammunition in Russia has increased 14 times, UAVs 4, and the assembly of tanks and armor has increased 3.5 times.
