Without referring to the Israeli regime’s aggression in this regard, he added: Everyone must adhere to the agreements of the first phase of the ceasefire in Gaza.
Guterres said a credible political process must be established to end the occupation and the right of the Palestinian people to self-determination, leading to the implementation of a two-state solution. Any force deployed in the Gaza Strip must derive its legitimacy from the United Nations.
Regarding Sudan, he also said: We need an immediate cessation of hostile and violent actions in Sudan. I call on the country’s armed forces and rapid reaction forces to cooperate with the special envoys to Sudan and to negotiate to reach a working solution.
