Haaretz: Negotiations are about ending the war, not exchanging prisoners.

The Hebrew-language media outlet reported, “The negotiations this time are different from previous negotiations and agreements, and this time the agreement is about ending the war, so all the issues are intertwined, and we are facing a very complicated agreement.”

Part of the report states that before these agreements were about the mutual release of prisoners, but this time the negotiations are about a complete end to the war, which has made them more complicated than previous negotiations.

The negotiations are currently discussing issues such as how to end the war. What is going to happen in Gaza? How will all the prisoners be returned? These are being negotiated.

A full-fledged clause has been included in the agreement to discuss the end of the war so that each side can add new issues to it for consideration during the 60-day ceasefire.

According to the media outlet, the Israeli negotiating team has been in Qatar for about 2 weeks and is not expected to return anytime soon.

Sources familiar with the negotiations also reported that, contrary to rumors, the negotiations are not on the verge of collapse, and both sides are still committed to continuing the negotiations.
