Haaretz: Netanyahu’s conviction will be issued soon.
According to Al Jazeera, the Hebrew-language newspaper Haaretz predicted that the Central Court of Jerusalem will soon issue its verdict on the charges against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
The newspaper added that Netanyahu is likely to be convicted on the charges.
The Israeli Prime Minister has been charged with various charges, including bribery, fraud and breach of trust.
The Israeli Attorney General had previously rejected Netanyahu’s request to postpone his appearance in court for 10 weeks.
According to the report, the Attorney General stressed that the public interest requires that judicial proceedings be carried out without delay.
Earlier, the Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth reported that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has requested a postponement of his trial in corruption cases.
He cited his involvement in the war as justification for his request to postpone the trial.
The Israeli Channel 12 television also confirmed this and announced that Netanyahu had requested a two-and-a-half-month postponement of his trial.
The Israeli newspaper Ma’ariv wrote that the Israeli cabinet’s legal advisor has agreed to launch an investigation into Benjamin Netanyahu’s involvement in leaking top-secret information from the Prime Minister’s Office.
In addition to the allegations of information leakage, corruption and misuse of public funds are other corruption charges against Netanyahu.
