Haaretz: Trump has achieved nothing in Lebanon and Syria

Lebanon

PNN – According to a prominent Israeli analyst, despite all of Trump’s claims, he still has no concrete diplomatic achievements in Lebanon and Syria.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, Tesfi Bareil, a senior analyst at Haaretz newspaper, emphasized in a note published on the media outlet’s website on Saturday: Tom Barak, the US ambassador to Turkey and the country’s special envoy to Syria and Lebanon, spoke very clearly in this regard and admitted that there are no consequences, we are not threatening or pressuring Israel. We are only voluntarily trying to move the issues forward towards a resolution.

With these words, and with this clarity and frankness, he concluded his trip to Lebanon this week, but if there was even room for doubt, Barak added to this statement that there is no room for negotiation regarding Hezbollah’s weapons.

Barack is a successful 78-year-old financier with a solid resume. He has an extensive legal education and is also experienced in real estate transactions worth hundreds of millions of dollars. His political activities date back to the first term of the US presidential election, when he was his campaign manager, and his friendship with the leaders of the Republican Party and its leaders dates back to the days when he hosted Ronald Reagan’s horses at his personal ranch in California.

He is now a diplomat, shuttling between Ankara, Damascus and Beirut, a journey that is apparently frustrating.

Lebanon is considered the homeland of his ancestors, who immigrated to the United States in 1900, and after 125 years, their descendants are seeking to restore order to their ancestral homeland!

Lebanon, in turn, will benefit from American aid, including encouraging foreign Arab and Western businessmen to invest in the country to help the country rebuild from the devastation.

At the same time, given the understanding of the political conditions prevailing in Lebanon, the United States also promises to examine the issue of the conditions for Hezbollah’s continued presence as a political party, even after disarmament.
