PNN – Haaretz reported that on Wednesday morning, one of the soldiers saw a suspicious figure moving in a building in Tel Sultan. About five hours later, a military drone spotted three figures exiting the building and moving between houses.
At this moment, the army realized that they were members of Hamas and opened fire on them, and they returned fire. According to the army’s initial investigation, they were injured in the exchange of fire and scattered – two went to one building and Sinwar to another.
Then a tank and other forces arrived. At this moment, Senwar went to the second floor of the building where he was stationed and the tank fired a bullet at him.

It seems that Senwar was wounded by the tank fire and lost his hand. After the soldiers entered the building, he threw two grenades at them as they tumbled down the stairs.
The soldiers retreated and used the drone to scan the building, and the drone spotted a masked man with a wounded hand.
Senwar saw the drone and threw a piece of wood towards it. At this moment, the tank fired at him again, apparently killing him.
