PNN – The International Court of Justice issued another ruling condemning the Zionist regime for preventing the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza, stating: UNRWA did not violate its neutrality.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing the BBC, the International Court of Justice has issued its advisory opinion on Israel’s obligations regarding the presence and activities of the United Nations and other international organizations and third states in the occupied Palestinian territories.
According to the ruling issued by the International Court of Justice, preventing the Zionist occupiers from imposing a blockade on Gaza and preventing humanitarian aid from entering the Gaza Strip is contrary to international law, and this regime cannot continue this inhumane action.
In a public session today, Yuji Iwasawa, President of the International Court of Justice, read the institution’s “advisory opinion” on the regime’s obligations to facilitate the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza.

The Hague Court issues a new ruling condemning the Zionist regime
The President of the International Court of Justice declared: Israel did not provide sufficient justification for its claims when it said that UNRWA employees were affiliated with Hamas or other organizations. Based on the facts, there is no evidence that UNRWA violated the principle of impartiality or discriminated in the distribution of humanitarian aid. UNRWA is the main organization providing assistance to Palestinians in the occupied territories and plays a vital role in the Gaza Strip.
Yuji Iwasawa stated: UNRWA is an essential part of the infrastructure in the occupied Palestinian territories and has provided the basic needs of the Palestinian population in the Gaza Strip. In the current situation, no other organization can fulfill the role that Anne Rova plays. Anne Rova cannot be replaced without a proper transition plan.
He then added: Israel has not guaranteed that the population of the Gaza Strip receives the necessary supplies. Israel is obliged to allow and facilitate the relief efforts carried out by the United Nations in the Palestinian territories. Israel is obligated to ensure that the basic needs of the Palestinian civilian population are met. Israel must facilitate UN assistance programs, including those in Gaza. Israel is obligated to allow the International Committee of the Red Cross to visit people it has detained in the occupied Palestinian territories.
The court ruling stated: In the opinion of the Court, there is no evidence that the Rwa violated the principles of impartiality. The Court believes that the Israeli evidence that Hamas infiltrated the Rwa is insufficient. The Court believes that no institution can replace the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA). The Court’s ruling emphasized that the Palestinians are in urgent need of humanitarian assistance and that UNRWA has a central role in helping the Palestinians. It is the UN relief agency for Palestinian refugees. Israel should not use starvation as a weapon of war. As a signatory to various UN conventions, Israel is obligated to protect the human rights of residents under occupation – including the rights of women, people with disabilities, and vulnerable groups. Israel has blocked humanitarian aid from entering Gaza on two occasions. The forcible transfer of residents of occupied territories by the occupying power is prohibited. This prohibition must be applied without any incentives for its residents.
The court began hearing the case last year at the request of the UN General Assembly. In essence, the court is considering what the legal duty of the Zionist occupiers is towards UN relief agencies such as the UNRWA, as well as in the field of providing relief to the Palestinians.
This is the third case filed against the regime at the International Court of Justice in The Hague since the start of Operation Al-Aqsa Storm in Gaza.
