Hajj rituals begin amid tight Saudi security measures.

According to Al-Mayadeen, nearly one and a half million Muslims from all over the world have traveled to Mecca and began this year’s Hajj rituals an hour ago amid the intense heat and strict measures taken by Saudi Arabia.

According to the report, the air conditioning system inside the Grand Mosque is the largest of its kind and ventilates the air inside the Grand Mosque more than nine times a day.

Saudi officials have announced that this year, they have installed air conditioners for pilgrims along the 4-kilometer route leading to Mount Arafat.

The Saudis have also announced that they are using artificial intelligence technology to monitor the gathering of pilgrims and review images and data in real time so that they can better manage the gathering of pilgrims.
