Hamas announced the possibility of suspending the ceasefire negotiations and exchange of prisoners

PNN – Al Jazeera, citing a senior source affiliated with Hamas, stated that no negotiations can be conducted amid the hunger of the Palestinian people, and that this movement intends to stop negotiations on a cease-fire and exchange of prisoners until humanitarian aid arrives in the northern Gaza Strip.

According to the International group of Pakistan News Network, While the Zionists’ obstruction in reaching any agreement for a cease-fire in Gaza and the exchange of prisoners continues, a senior source in the Palestinian Hamas movement stated: While hunger has engulfed the Palestinian nation, it is not possible to negotiate.

In an interview with Al Jazeera, this source said: Hamas plans to stop negotiations on a cease-fire in Gaza and the exchange of prisoners until humanitarian aid arrives in the north of the Gaza Strip.

On the other hand, the Hebrew newspaper Ha’aretz quoted one of the ministers of the small security and political cabinet of the Zionist regime and announced that the Israeli army’s need for a long-term ceasefire in Gaza is no less than Hamas’s need for such a ceasefire.

Hebrew media reported that negotiations in Cairo are still ongoing. According to these media, Israel agreed to a 42-day ceasefire, but has not accepted withdrawal and the end of the war.

In this context, the Hebrew newspaper Ma’ariv reported: Negotiations are continuing to examine Hamas’s demand for a complete and absolute ceasefire and Israel’s withdrawal from the Gaza Strip, and after that to deal with the issue of the exchange of prisoners.

The 12 TV channel of the Zionist regime, citing its sources, announced that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu (Zionist regime) did not allow the Israeli negotiating delegation to travel to participate in the negotiations in Cairo. Netanyahu is looking to determine to what extent Hamas can show its flexibility and then seek to advance the negotiations.

On the other hand, “Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani”, the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, said that there are problems in the human dimension of the negotiations.

Pointing out that there are problems in the human dimension of the negotiations, he added: “During the last week, we made progress on the agreement, but in recent days, we encountered some differences.” If we can define a human package in this agreement, we will be able to remove the barriers. We will do our best to reach an agreement to reduce human suffering in Gaza.

This Qatari official emphasized: We must be realistic about the negotiations on the Palestinian issue. There has been no progress in talks on a two-state solution. When it comes to killing Palestinians, the principle of right and wrong is abandoned. Time is not in our favor and with the arrival of Ramadan, the situation will be dangerous for the region.
