Hamas: Blinken’s claims were made to justify the crimes of the Israeli regime

PNN – The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) considered the recent claim of the US Secretary of State that this movement uses Palestinian citizens as human shields an attempt to mislead the public opinion and to wash its hands stained with the blood of the Zionist occupiers.

According to Pakistan News Network, quoted by the Palestinian news agency “Shahab”, In its statement, the Hamas movement considered the recent claim of US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken that the movement uses Palestinian citizens as human shields as a pathetic attempt by Washington to mislead the public opinion and a fruitless attempt to wash the hands of the Zionist occupiers, who shed the blood of children.

The Hamas movement announced that Blinken’s fruitless efforts to justify the genocide of the occupying and terrorist Israeli army against Palestinian civilians and to wash the hands of the Zionist occupation are stained with the blood of thousands of children, women and the elderly in Gaza.

This movement emphasized that these statements reflect the extent of America’s involvement in these crimes and the widespread violation of all international laws by the fascist army of the Zionist regime in the Gaza Strip.

In another part of the Hamas statement, it was stated that the positions of the US foreign minister regarding South Africa’s complaint to the International Court of Justice in The Hague against the Zionist occupation regime to investigate the genocidal crimes of this terrorist occupation regime’s army in Gaza are based on fear of international laws.

In its statement, Hamas described these positions of the US foreign minister as Washington’s attempt to prevent the implementation of the role of international justice mechanisms and in the context of the full support of the US for the massacres of the Zionist occupation against Palestinian civilians in the Gaza Strip.

US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, who visited the Occupied Palestinian Territories, repeated his claims against the Hamas movement in a press conference yesterday.

Amidst the fear that the war between the Israeli regime and the Hamas movement will turn into a larger regional conflict, Blinken visited the Middle East for the fourth time after the start of the Al-Aqsa storm operation on October 7, 2023, with the aim of consulting with the officials of some countries.

According to Matthew Miller, the spokesperson of the US Department of State, Blinken met with his counterparts in Turkey, Greece, Jordan, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, the occupied territories of Palestine, Egypt, and the West Bank to discuss and exchange views on some decisive issues.

On October 7, 2023, the Palestinian resistance groups launched the “Al-Aqsa Storm” operation from Gaza against the positions of the Israeli regime, and finally, on November 24, 2023, a four-day temporary ceasefire was established between Israel and Hamas, or the pause for the exchange of prisoners between Hamas and Israel.

This pause in the war continued for 7 days and finally on the morning of Friday, December 10, 2023, the temporary ceasefire ended and the Israeli regime resumed attacks on Gaza. In order to retaliate for the surprise attacks of the “Al-Aqsa storm” and to compensate for its failure and stop the resistance operations, this regime has closed all the crossings of the Gaza Strip and is bombarding this area.

The Gaza Ministry of Health announced that on the 94th day of the Israeli war, 23 thousand 84 people were martyred and 58 thousand 926 people were injured.
