This military expert pointed to Hamas’s combat infrastructure and emphasized that after dropping more than 100,000 tons of explosives and 18 months of occupation of Gaza by the Zionists, Hamas forces continue their combat on the ground using complex tunnel networks.

He pointed out that, according to international academic reports such as the West Point report, only 25% of Gaza’s tunnels have been discovered and identified, and emphasized that Hamas militants continue to operate in undiscovered tunnels.

He referred to the resistance tactics during the war and stated that visual surveillance, obtaining information, setting up numerous ambushes, or bombing buildings and tunnel entrances are among these tactics, which are implemented by taking advantage of the human errors of the Zionist military.

Al-Duwairi pointed to the Israeli regime’s advanced equipment to counter ambushes, including the use of trained dogs to find explosives, and emphasized that the resistance nevertheless continues to carry out successful ambushes.

Referring to the hand-to-hand clashes in Rafah, he said that the evacuation of the area between Morag and Salah al-Din Street, covering an area of 75 square kilometers, has allowed the Palestinian resistance to engage in direct field combat.
