Hamas: Islamic and Arab leaders should fulfill their duty at the Riyadh meeting.
According to the Shahab News Agency, the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas called on the leaders of Islamic and Arab countries participating in the summit in Riyadh to fulfill their responsibilities towards the city of Jerusalem and activate the tools of economic and political pressure in support of it.
Harun Nasser al-Din, a member of the Hamas political bureau, said: “We call on the Arab and Islamic countries participating in Riyadh to fulfill their duty towards the occupied city of Jerusalem. The time has come for Islamic countries to fulfill their religious and political duties towards the city of Jerusalem, which is exposed to widespread and targeted Judaization attacks by the extremist cabinet of the Zionist regime.”
Nasser al-Din stated: “Islamic countries have the tools of economic and political pressure and influence on the countries of the world to stop the crimes of the Zionist enemy against the Palestinian people and its Islamic sanctities.”
This senior Hamas member emphasized the need to implement the decisions of the previous Islamic Summit in opposing any change in the status of the city of Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque and calling on countries to withdraw their embassies from the city of Jerusalem.
Referring to the increasing aggressions of Zionist settlers against Al-Aqsa Mosque and the increase in the demolition of Palestinian homes in Jerusalem, especially the town of Silwan, he considered these aggressions an emphasis on the continued Judaization of the Zionist enemy and its decision to completely control the city of Jerusalem.
