PNN – A senior source in the Hamas movement emphasized that the movement did not add any new clauses to the July 2nd agreement and noted that the Zionist regime is strongly against the American agreement proposal.
According to Pakistan News Network’s Sunday report, a senior source in the Islamic resistance of Palestine emphasized in a conversation with Al-Mayadeen that the Zionist regime strongly opposes the proposal of the American agreement for the exchange of prisoners and a ceasefire in Gaza because it believes that this agreement does not meet the security demands of the Israeli regime.
He emphasized: America could not make a proposal for a prisoner exchange and a ceasefire that would be accepted by both sides, the Zionist regime and the Hamas movement.
The Hamas official says: The Americans believe that Netanyahu, the prime minister of the Zionist regime, is the main obstacle to the agreement, and the Hamas movement did not add any new clauses to the July 2nd agreement.

This senior official of the resistance says: The Hamas movement announced to the mediators that there is no need for a new proposal and that the July 2nd proposal is the only way to reach an agreement.
Netanyahu’s opposition to the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip has denied the possibility of reaching an agreement for the release of Zionist prisoners in exchange for the release of Palestinian prisoners from the prisons of this regime, and this has caused widespread protests by the families of these prisoners in the occupied territories.
While the families of the Zionist prisoners are demanding an agreement with Hamas for their release, Benjamin Netanyahu, who is confident of being tried on charges of corruption after the end of the war, blocks any agreement in this regard and several rounds of negotiations in Qatar and has led Egypt to defeat.
Despite the request of mediators including Egypt, America and Qatar to stop the hostilities and reach a ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement, Tel Aviv continues its deadly attacks against Gaza.
So far, negotiations between Hamas and Israel with the mediation of Egypt and Qatar and the participation of the United States to establish a ceasefire in Gaza and the exchange of prisoners between the two sides have not reached any results.
