PNN – A senior member of the Hamas movement, regarding the delay of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in implementing the steps of the ceasefire agreement, said that the lives of Israeli prisoners are in danger, given that some of them are injured.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, the Al-Arabi Al-Jadeed news website quoted this senior Hamas member without mentioning his name: Israel’s delay in implementing the ceasefire agreement is wasting time and causing lost opportunities to save the lives of Israeli prisoners, who have little chance of leaving the Gaza Strip alive.
He added: There are groups of second-stage prisoners who were injured during the Israeli regime’s bombing, and the resistance has provided health services to the best of its ability, but perhaps due to Netanyahu’s procrastination, there will not be enough time to save their lives.
The senior Hamas member added: Some of the Israeli soldiers captured by the resistance are wounded and receiving treatment within the limits of available resources. Their situation is similar to that of the residents of Gaza, despite the lack of treatment, medicine, and medical equipment.

He continued: If Netanyahu and the extremist members of his cabinet had not been evasive and had not stalled for political gain, there was a possibility that some of the prisoners whose bodies were handed over in the first stage would have survived. Hamas will not give in to Netanyahu’s vile demands, through which he seeks to continue the war after the release of the prisoners and outside the framework of the agreement.
This is while Palestinian resistance groups in Gaza have greatly increased their level of preparedness, given the possibility of a resumption of war, and have implemented strict security measures to protect Israeli prisoners.
A Palestinian resistance commander told Al-Arabi Al-Jadeed that the joint operations room of the resistance groups in Gaza agreed to increase the readiness of the fighters for any scenario in the coming hours, in light of Netanyahu’s moves against the ceasefire agreement.
The source spoke about the measures taken to support Israeli prisoners and intensify security measures.
The resistance commander announced that the prisoners would be transferred to safe tunnels after medical examination.
