Hamas: Netanyahu did not accept any solution to end the Gaza war.
The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) stated on Sunday that Netanyahu’s approval of the occupation of Gaza after the movement agreed to the mediators’ proposal shows his insistence on obstructing the path to an agreement.
The Hamas statement said: “We agreed to a partial agreement and announced our readiness for a comprehensive agreement, but Netanyahu did not accept all the solutions.”
Hamas referred to the confessions of American and Zionist officials in the statement, adding: “The confessions of Israel and the United States confirm that Netanyahu is the main obstacle to the [prisoner] exchange agreement and ceasefire.”
The Hamas statement said that Matthew Miller, a former spokesman for the US State Department, admitted that Netanyahu resorted to procrastination and deception by imposing new conditions every time he approached the conclusion of the agreement.
